“Nothing prevents burnout and supports good clinical work as powerfully as thoughtful supervision. I’ve been fortunate to have incredible supervisors whose guidance deepened my love for this profession. My approach to supervision aims to provide the same care, curiosity, and rigor I once received.”

Supervision

Yuval is a certificated AEDP supervisor, this means that under the right provisions, supervision together can help you accrue hours towards your own certification as an AEDP therapist or supervisor.

  • Therapists often experience a kind of clinical aloneness—the feeling of holding complex work without enough support. Done well, individual supervision is one of the most sacred parts of our profession. It not only undoes that aloneness, but also creates the conditions for profound growth.

In my supervision, I work to see each supervisee’s strengths and capabilities clearly, while also helping illuminate blind spots and stretch toward new possibilities. The goal is to grow your skills, deepen your confidence, and strengthen your connection to the work you love.

  • Group supervision is a powerful catalyst for professional growth. Watching the work of fellow clinicians, offering and receiving thoughtful feedback, and being part of a trusted clinical community can be transformative.

In my groups, we strike a balance between slowed-down experiential work—where there’s space to feel, notice, and reflect—and deep engagement with theory, so learning is both embodied and intellectually grounded.

  • Over the years, I’ve partnered with many clinics to provide external supervision for their clinicians. These groups are tailored to your program’s needs—they can focus purely on case presentations or blend seminar-style teaching with case discussion.

External supervision offers a unique benefit: guidance from someone outside the organization, free from internal power dynamics, whose sole commitment is to supporting best clinical practice and clinician growth.

DBT Program Building and Consultation

Having formed and led adherent DBT teams in different agencies Yuval offers programmatic consultation along with clinical consultation.

Consultation to programs - DBT programs come in different shapes and forms and every clinic/agency has to figure out what works for their model of work and population. In the process of building your program, some things that we would think of are enhancing staff’s knowledge and application of the model, forming a strong DBT team, programmatically structuring the different phases of the treatment, adhering to DBT principals and other dilemmas specific to your program.

We offer consultation to programs that are in different stages of building their teams. Whether you are just starting to dream of a DBT component in your program or you are already providing DBT therapy, the Moses Collaborative can help take your work to the next level.

Individual consultation - Learning DBT requires a significant investment of time and resources and ideally taking a B-tech official training. These trainings are a great place to start, and often leave those who took them with many questions about implementation. If you are thinking of incoporating DBT into your practice we are happy to help you think of ways to do it effectively and can offer on-going consultation in the process, as needed.
