Meet the Team

  • Founder

Yuval is a licensed clinical social worker in New York and New Jersey, a certified AEDP therapist and supervisor, and the founder of The Moses Collaborative. With over 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, educator, and trainer, Yuval brings a deep commitment to healing, learning, and connection.

Yuval's clinical work is grounded in AEDP and attachment-based therapy, supported by a strong foundation in DBT. He has extensive experience treating trauma, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, relational challenges, and the emotional struggles that come with navigating life in all its complexity. His approach is experiential, collaborative, and deeply rooted in creating emotional safety.

Yuval is a longtime educator in NYU’s MSW program and on faculty at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP). He is also a member of the AEDP Institute’s Education Committee. His trainings have been offered to hospital teams, community mental health clinics, group practices, and postgraduate programs. Most recently, he launched At the Core, a 25-week supervision and training group for early-career therapists, integrating AEDP and trauma work with structured learning and community support.

Yuval is committed to ongoing anti-oppression work and to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for people of all identities. He is Israeli-American, fluent in both English and Hebrew, and offers therapy in both languages.

  • Staff Therapist

Toby is a therapist and theater maker who draws from both creative and healing traditions to support clients’ emotional growth. His style is flexible and relational, informed by AEDP, psychodynamic theory, CBT, DBT, somatic techniques, mindfulness-based interventions, and humanism.

In his work, he helps clients unravel old patterns, address attachment wounds, and foster growth from a holistic perspective. He offers a confidential and affirming environment where clients can be fully themselves—whether that means laughing, sitting with discomfort, or finding moments of clarity and healing.

Toby has a special corner in his hear for working with artists, creatives, innovators, and those whose artistic nature may be quietly tucked away, helping them uncover what has been buried or silenced and reconnect with their authentic selves

Outside of his clinical work, he composes musicals, produces records, cooks elaborate meals, cheers for his lifelong favorite sports teams, and enjoys time with family, friends, and his exuberant dog.

Ali’s approach approach is integrative, and tailored to each person she works with. She believes in the quiet but profound power of truly being seen, and aims to offer that experience in her work with clients. In sessions, she helps people uncover and work through the subconscious blocks that can stand in the way of living with greater passion and authenticity.

Alongside her LMSW, she holds certifications in trauma-informed CBT, grief counseling, restorative justice, and birthwork. She has completed training in AEDP, EMDR, meditation, and pranayama yoga, and draws from psychoanalysis and interpersonal neurobiology in a relational, systems-centered way. Her goal is to combine skill and compassion to foster meaningful, lasting change.
